Hello Blogger World,
My name is Alana, and welcome to KULTURE HEALING.
I originally started this blog in 2019, but stepped away for a while to focus on my career, my spiritual journey, and shaping the woman I am becoming. Now I’m back—not just to share information, but to use this space as a personal diary, a healing journal, and a place to grow in community. So if you're interested, have a read and take this journey with me.
I’m here to talk about the real, the personal, and sometimes the uncomfortable—served with honesty, humor, and a little Kulture flavor. When I first created this page, I focused on our bodies and the complicated relationships we develop with food—especially the processed foods that harm us more than they help. I still firmly believe in the idea that "food is energy" and that what we eat has a profound impact on every aspect of our health. Our bodies are living energy centers, and when we feed them lifeless foods, our system suffers.
Over the years, I've learned that much of our sickness comes from imbalance, inflammation, and mucus—often caused by the very foods we were taught were “safe.” Many of our ancestral teachings were lost, forgotten, or intentionally hidden, but the truth always finds its way back. We were raised on certain habits—three heavy meals a day, constant snacking, processed diets—but those habits are part of the reason our bodies are overworked, aging faster, and getting sick more frequently.
Since then, my journey has continued to expand.
Today, you’ll also see me sharing:
✨ Spiritual growth & ancestral wisdom
🌿 My vegan lifestyle & holistic healing
🤰🏾 My experiences as a doula and home-birth advocate
🖤 Conversations on colorism, Black sisterhood, Black brotherhood & community unity
I’ve discussed many of these topics on my YouTube channel, and I’ll continue exploring them here on a deeper level because I’m honestly tired of seeing our people suffer due to a lack of information, broken systems, and generational cycles.
This blog is my space to learn, share, unlearn, reflect, and build.
I’m a firm believer in the quote: “Eat to live.”
Until next time, have a grateful day.
